After years of preparation, writing, and direction, he is ready with his debut series, The Bads of Bollywood, under Red Chillies Entertainment. The show, starring Lakshya, Bobby Deol, and Sahher Bambba, is set to stream on Netflix from 18 September 2025. With this project, Aryan takes on the role of showrunner, writer, and director, carrying forward the legacy of his family in a fresh and bold way.
The trailer showed a mix of action, comedy, cameos, and bold style. Aryan surprised everyone with his presentation of the show. From casting to editing, everything looked sharp. Bobby Deol, who plays the biggest superstar in the industry, stood out with his strong screen presence. At the trailer launch, Bobby Deol shared how Aryan convinced him. He said Aryan sat with him for seven hours to narrate the story. What impressed him was Aryan’s conviction and clarity. Bobby called the show one of the best he has been a part of, praising Aryan for bringing the best out of every actor, from seniors to newcomers. Along with Bobby, the cast includes Lakshya, Seher Bamba, Raghav Jwal, Mona Singh, Anya Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Vijayant Kohli, and Manish Chaudhary.
Then came Aryan Khan’s moment on stage. Nervous but honest, he admitted it was his first time speaking in front of everyone and even joked about writing his speech on both a teleprompter and a paper with a torch. He said the only purpose of making this show was to entertain as many people as possible. After four years of hard work, countless discussions, and thousands of takes, the show is finally ready. He thanked Netflix, Red Chillies, T-Series, his co-creators, EPs, the cast, the crew, and most of all, his mother Gauri Khan, “for producing this show and for producing me.” His raw honesty and light-hearted jokes made the moment even more special.
