Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 teaser created massive noise the moment it dropped. Brutal action, masked gangs, and Sanjay Dutt’s villainous aura split the audience in two. Some called it Tiger’s biggest comeback, while others mocked it as an “Animal-style brutality copy.”
But the biggest shock? With the film releasing on 5 September, the trailer is still missing. Makers have finally announced that the trailer will arrive on 30 August 2025 and they are boldly calling it “the most violent trailer in Bollywood history.” Reports even suggest it’s been cut as 100% adult-rated, a move that could scare away family audiences. That’s why early demands for a ban have already started surfacing.

On IMDb, Baaghi 4 is already showing a poor 6.6% score, raising eyebrows. Even the team seems worried. To control the buzz, a new song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya is set to release tomorrow. However, the makers themselves triggered backlash with their own statement: “Only Laila can save it; the rest are doomed.” Fans are calling this the strangest marketing move ever.
And the trouble doesn’t stop there. Baaghi 4 is also caught in a copyright controversy, with fans pointing out uncanny similarities to Animal and several South Indian action films. Social media is flooded with comparison edits and “copycat” allegations.
Bollywood currently has “two Tigers” one by name (Tiger Shroff) and one by dominance (Salman Khan). Both are gearing up for their subsequent releases, and fans are already speculating about this silent clash. While Baaghi 4’s teaser skyrocketed hype, the average response to its songs has once again lowered the excitement meter.

On the other side, Param Sundari is sitting at a weak 3.7% on IMDb despite being ready with its trailer and music, hitting theatres on 29th August. But the real issue? Its buzz is shockingly low. Despite having a release just before Baaghi 4, social media discussion around it is almost invisible compared to Tiger’s action spectacle.
The Baaghi franchise has already collected over ₹550 crore. But this time, risks are higher than ever. So far, Baaghi 4’s controversies controversies include:
- 18+ violence and ban demands
- Copyright clash with Animal & South action films
- Songs failing to click, except hope on ‘Laila’
- Trailer delayed but hyped as “most violent ever”
All this together has made Baaghi 4 one of the most controversial Indian films of 2025. The real test will come on 5 September, when the film finally hits theatres. Only then will it be clear if this is Tiger Shroff’s roaring comeback or just another blood-soaked gamble.
