The much-awaited teaser of Baaghi 4 has finally dropped, and it’s already sparking debates across social media. Fans are excited to see Tiger Shroff back in his most famous action avatar, but with so many shades of Animal in its tone and style, the big question remains: is this his grand comeback or just another over-the-top bloodbath?
One of the biggest highlights of the Baaghi 4 teaser is the face-off between Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt. In Baaghi 3, Sanjay Dutt shared the screen in a friendly vibe with Jackie Shroff now, he’s standing opposite Jackie’s son in a much darker role. Known for playing strong villains in recent films, Sanju Baba dominates the screen here without saying a single line, giving off the same silent but powerful presence that Bobby Deol brought to Animal.
The teaser quickly sets the mood, we see masked gangs, high-speed chases, and intense hand-to-hand fights loaded with stylized action. At the helm is director Harsha, making his Hindi debut after directing Kannada hits like Bhajarangi, Vajrakaya, Anjani Putra, and Bhajarangi 2. His style is all about big, energetic set pieces, though some scenes, like the axe fights and corridor battles, may remind viewers of other recent violent blockbusters. Still, the scale and energy are hard to ignore.
Tiger Shroff looks lean, fierce, and ready for action. He barely speaks in the teaser, letting his stunts and presence do the talking, which actually works in his favour. Even the female leads are shown fighting, not just standing on the sidelines.
But honestly, the teaser is all about non-stop maar-dhaad, everyone seems busy killing or getting killed, with no solid reason shown for the violence. The VFX looks weak, and instead of feeling scared or tense, some of the scenes feel so fake that they make you laugh. It comes across more like an overdone action game than something truly intense.
From the glimpses shared, the story hints at a revenge drama triggered by a personal loss, with Tiger’s character walking a fine line between hero and anti-hero. How deeply this conflict will be explored is still a mystery.
With the Baaghi franchise already raking in over ₹550 crore from its earlier films, the fourth installment aims to raise the stakes both in scale and intensity. Scheduled for release on 5 September, it promises relentless action and a darker tone than its predecessors.
Whether audiences will embrace this new level of violence or question its originality will only be clear once the film hits theatres. But one thing is sure, Baaghi 4 marks Tiger Shroff’s most ferocious return yet.
