Baaghi 4, which is already tagged with “Restricted, R-Rated, Violence Ahead” before its release, is bound to spark curiosity. The makers have clearly tried to grab attention with this bold move. But as always in Bollywood, audience reactions are already divided. Some are calling it a “scene-to-scene copy of Animal,” while others feel it’s nothing more than mindless violence, bloodshed, and fake visual effects.

Now, let’s discuss why Baaghi 4 is being accused of being a copyright infringement of Animal. The trailer is packed with brutality masked assassins, blood splashes, a white-cloth wedding massacre, hallucinations, and nonstop action. Naturally, this led to heavy comparisons with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Many felt that the style, and even some characters, like Upendra Limaye and Saurabh Sachdeva, looked straight out of Animal. Supporters argued that Baaghi 4 is simply taking the franchise into a bolder zone. To put it bluntly, the movie seems to have borrowed the Animal template with only minor tweaks, essentially marking Tiger Shroff’s comeback. And honestly, it won’t be wrong to say that Tiger’s talent is once again being used in the wrong place.
On IMDb, Baaghi 4 shows a surprisingly low 9.8% public interest, which is unusual for such a big franchise. Still, Tiger Shroff fans are hyped. His slow-motion entries, shirtless action scenes, and heavyweight dialogues are already trending, with some even calling this his “avatar of tomorrow.”

While action is the USP, not everyone is impressed with the technical side. Many pointed out the poor CGI in blood effects and VFX-heavy shots. And it’s not just Tiger; even Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu, who get full-fledged action sequences with sword fights, blood splashes, bodies sliced in half, and even a cheetah sequence, suffer from weak execution. Where the makers should have paid maximum attention, the visuals instead look rushed and unpolished. Some also complained that brutality alone cannot carry a film there needs to be an emotional connection, a solid storyline, and characters that make the audience feel their pain. Otherwise, the hype could fade after the first weekend.
Overall, the Baaghi 4 trailer delivers precisely what the franchise is known for high-octane stunts, Tiger Shroff’s action-packed screen presence, and now, an extra layer of raw violence. The big question is, will Baaghi 4 just be a showcase of brutality, or will it offer a story worth remembering? Only the whole film will answer that question.
