Bigg Boss 19 is officially on the way, and this time, things are getting bigger, bolder, and far more controversial. Salman Khan is back as host, but what’s grabbing headlines is his record-breaking ₹150 crore fee. Along with that, a new political theme twist has been introduced, and the confirmed contestant list already has fans talking.

The promo for Bigg Boss 19 was shot on 21 July, with tight security in place to prevent leaks. This time, the background caught everyone’s attention—the entire set had a politics-inspired look, and Salman Khan was seen in a politician-style avatar. Media reports hint that this season isn’t just a revival—it’s a bold fusion of nostalgia and political theatre.
The show is expected to premiere in late August 2025, with the teaser likely to drop by the end of July, followed by a full trailer in the first or second week of August.
Salman Khan will be hosting Bigg Boss 19 for 15 weeks, and for this stint, he’s charging between ₹120 crore and ₹150 crore, which means around ₹8 to 10 crore per week. He shoots for just one day—usually on Saturdays—for about 4 to 5 hours, where he handles eliminations and weekend tasks.
After his 15-week run, he’ll return only for the finale episode. In the meantime, the makers plan to bring in guest hosts, such as Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, or Farah Khan, for the remaining weeks.
As the countdown begins, at least 10 contestants have already been finalized for Bigg Boss 19. Among the most talked-about names is Dhanashree Verma, the ex-wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, whose entry alone is expected to draw significant attention from cricket fans. Then there’s Mr. Faizu, a popular influencer who previously appeared on Bigg Boss OTT in a guest role—now all set to face the game full-time.
Another notable figure is Apoorva Mukhija, known for her strong social media presence and bold opinions. Reality show lovers will recognize Shri Ramchandra, the Indian Idol winner, who’s making a comeback to the screen in a different setting.

According to reports, TV personalities such as Bhavika Sharma, Hunar Gandhi, and Khushi Dubey have also committed to the show. Meanwhile, Gaurav Khanna and Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast) bring their loyal fan bases, with Gaurav Taneja’s YouTube journey and airline controversies expected to stir conversations inside the house. The tenth confirmed name is Dheeraj Kapoor, adding another layer of variety to this already diverse lineup.
More contestants will be revealed soon, but with these ten, the season’s mix of drama, fame, and controversy is already heating up.
